Absolutely gorgeous wooden doll-sized chest of drawers shaped like a house with pitched roof and printed roof tiles, windows and door. About 15cm high.

Tiny brass drawer pulls.

Marked "Made in Japan" on the base. Good used condition, a small amount of wear and tear especially to the roof varnish at the rear, really does not detract from this as a display piece.

All the drawers and 2 dividers sit loosely in the piece, so it is not easy to use as a mini chest, more for display.

Have paired with this adorably tiny ceramic dolls house furniture likely manufactured around the same time (mid 20th century) also in Japan. Four pieces in total, an armoire, sofa, armchair and coffee table. The rustic finish of the glazed ceramic has mild wear, with a couple of small nicks and chips as shown in the photos. Again, does not detract from display.

Smaller than usual 1:12 scale furniture. Perfect for displaying inside the house when the drawers are removed.
