I've been making one-of-a-kind art houses and Advent calendars for nearly a decade now, and 2026 is my most extensive collection to date. Through the years, my Advents have been purchased as indulgences of total whimsy for fellow collectors, armchair travellers and kindred spirits who delight in the miniature scale, imagination, daily surprise and unique beauty of these curations.

This Flower Market Advent calendar is larger than the standard doll's house scale at approximately 31cm high.

I have personally handcrafted the market stall incorporating reclaimed vintage materials (antique silk striped awning, glass-tiled counter, miniature antique wooden finials for the posts) to create a scene that is truly one of a kind.

The full scene will emerge as you unwrap each of the 25 gifts.

Each one will come giftwrapped and numbered to open each day starting from 1 December (or however you choose to enjoy it). It will feel like a daily visit to a tiny French 'marche aux fleurs'. 

At the end of your unboxing experience you will have your own richly detailed miniature vignette featuring an assortment of wonderful vessels (European porcelain vases, handwoven baskets) and flowers made from glass, vintage millinery materials and even tiny shells I gathered myself from my local beach.

The entire scene could live under a large glass cloche or inside a glass display cabinet.

All the contents are photographed, but I deliberately resist detailing them here to enhance the surprise as I find most often these Advents are purchased for personal enjoyment. Note: all my Advent Calendars are designed for adult collectors and are not suitable as gifts for young children as they contain small parts, fragile materials, and true vintage and antique finds.
