A wonderful vintage folk art piece, unfortunately I can't find information about the maker or provenance but it is signed on the foot "K. MURPHY" (I think that's what it says, possibly R.Murphy, see photo) and the other foot is marked "Walnut".

Bear is about 9cm high, and comes with his own shadow box (11.5cm x 8.5cm) labelled "Walnut" with a little hand-written plaque.

Completing the vignette is a tiny solid wood jar of "flowering gum honey" beautifully handpainted. 

The bear has fully articulated arms and legs which move well.

An adorable and high quality collectable in excellent vintage condition.
